If you were lucky enough to get a bike and are having issues of any type with your MetaCycle there is help. I found him by sleuthing through tons of posts and this guy kept popping up who knew everything about the bike. At the end of this post I will provide his new website. HOWEVER there are things you need to know first:
- He didn't take anyone's money; he got the shaft from Sondors perhaps more than anyone.
- He didn't own or manage the company so don't blame him for the bankruptcy.
- He didn't design the bike or spec the components used.
- If your bike was never delivered he doesn't have it.
- He is not the target for your anger or blame.
So who is he?
- He is the former Director of Engineering for Sondors who was hired after-the-fact to support the finished bike which was already in production.
- He came to the company with many years of e-motorcycle experience.
- He knows this machine inside and out.
I messaged him with an ongoing charging issue and offered to pay him for his time. I encouraged him by saying perhaps this could become a side hustle to make up for the money Sondors owes him. He agreed to set up a 30 minute Zoom call for $50. When the call started he had parts in hand to show me, pictures to screen share and explain, and was 95% certain he knew the problem from my description. He gave me detailed instructions and answered all my questions. I told him there were a lot of people like me who would appreciate his help and he should really consider offering his services. Here's the best thing; he was 100% correct with his diagnosis and I now have a fully functional MetaCycle. I did not know him previously and am not being compensated for this in any way. I am simply a fellow owner who knows what it feels like to have a $6,000 paperweight sitting in the garage.
